Cultivation of quinoa is an operational strategy to create a competitive market for products in the catchment area of Lake Urmia

Why is there no demand for apples in the surrounding areas of Lake Urmia for many years?!?
It has been scientifically proven that in order for the apple to be juicy and full of characteristics, the place of cultivation of the product must be cultivated at an altitude of 1700+ meters above sea level.
However, the areas that are used for growing this product around Lake Urmia are at most 1300+ meters above sea level, so it is natural that apples from the mentioned areas are unfortunately not successful in the competitive market, and for the customers of this product, buying apples from this area is not a priority in their basket of goods.
Therefore, planting apples in the mentioned areas is a strategic mistake and a suitable solution should be provided to solve the agricultural problems of the mentioned areas and a suitable product for cultivation.
Strategic proposal:
Quinoa plant (Quinoa) is a product that is recommended to farmers in the region to use for cultivation and earning.
* Getting to know the plant
Quinoa is a plant with the scientific name Chenopodium quinoa willd
Quinoa is a little known product in Iran.
Quinoa is a vegetable caviar.
Quinoa plant is a traditional plant that is 5000 years old. Quinoa is much lighter and more digestible than rice grains and a rich source of protein, magnesium, fiber, phosphorus, vitamin B2, potassium and other minerals such as iron. It is especially recommended for those who are on a diet and also for vegetarians. Quinoa is rich in useful carbohydrates to supply the body with energy. Carbohydrates are needed to build muscle.  With 3 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein per quarter cup, quinoa contains more fiber and protein than other grains. This means that this seed is effective in keeping the blood sugar level stable. In addition to quinoa, edible seeds are also known as Inca rice and herbal caviar
The quinoa plant is planted because of the extraction of edible seeds. It is similar to cereal and it is cooked and consumed like it, but it is not actually cereal! This plant is a member of the beet, spinach, and safflower family and is famous for its good growth in the worst and most difficult weather conditions and can be planted for desertification. It is rich in protein but has very few calories.
* Advantages of planting quinoa plant:
1- It is possible to plant the crop twice a year (March planting and Tir harvest and August planting and Mehr harvesting)
2- The low need of the crop for irrigation and other agricultural services
3- Quinoa can be very effective for reviving Lake Urmia due to the need for little irrigation

* Application of quinoa in traditional medicine:
Quinoa to deal with digestive problems
* Quinoa is a slimming aid
