#resume #conditions
Bachelor’s field and GPA: Mechanical Engineering -17.53
Master’s field and GPA:-
TOEFL score (overall and separately for each section): 107 (R:30, L:26, S:28, W:23)
GRE/GMAT score (overall and separately for each section): 300 (3-160-140). My score would have expired for 5 years. The university didn’t want me this year either, but I uploaded it.
Articles (journal/conference):-
Research experience/ work experience: 5 years of work experience
Any other points worth mentioning: I have 5 years of work experience in this field and I justified not having a relevant bachelor’s degree by presenting a portfolio and a complete explanation on SOP why I changed my field and what process I went through. Apart from the very few universities that emphasize on the passed units, the rest are even written on the website that we accept students from any background. I didn’t email any professor in advance due to being committee-oriented, and I realized late that it was a mistake, at least in this field, because you can get the opinion of the professor to vote within the committee, so definitely send an email.
