Deputy General Director of Environmental Protection of Tehran Province;
The requirement to refer Tehran vehicles to technical inspection centers in Tehran should be seen in the law
Coinciding with Clean Air Week; On Wednesday, January 27, Alireza Rahmati, the Deputy Director General of the Environmental Protection Organization of Tehran province, along with a group of managers of that organization, visited the Niayesh Vehicle Technical Inspection Center and during the latest measures of the Technical Inspection Headquarters regarding the quantitative and qualitative development of the services provided to the citizens were placed
According to the public relations report of the technical inspection headquarters of Tehran vehicles, during this visit, explanations were given about the procedure and process of technical inspection in the centers, the latest status of referrals to the centers of Tehran and the percentage of applicants to receive the superior technical inspection certificate by the deputies of the technical inspection headquarters.
After visiting and listening to the report of the technical inspection headquarters, Rahmati confirmed that the technical inspection in Tehran has the necessary accuracy, accuracy and reliability, and said: the announced statistics are based on the fact that the share of the technical inspection centers in Tehran is only 37 The percentage is something to think about and needs to be thought of. At present, the city of Tehran is in a good situation in terms of the number and dispersion of centers on Khordar, and fortunately, with the efforts and cooperation of Tehran Municipality, the necessary capacity to accept cars with Tehran license plates has been created.
Emphasizing the problem that in addition to the mechanized recording of technical inspection violations by city-wide cameras, technical inspection certificate control gates should be increased, Rahmati stated: In order to increase the effectiveness of technical inspection in reducing air pollution and accidents, legal bases should be established. In order to require the capital’s vehicles to go to technical inspection centers in Tehran, it should be foreseen. Also, like changing the license plate and moving the car, which is required by the Clean Air Law to have a technical inspection certificate, the technical inspection certificate must be controlled in all social and public services provided to the car, such as third party insurance. Of course, it is emphasized that the implementation of these plans requires the creation and provision of the necessary legal frameworks.
