Gan put it so that the possibility of fungi and mold growth will also be eliminated.
It is interesting to know that more than 200 types of fungi appear as a result of mold, and two types of these fungi that cause severe poisoning in native poultry are:
1- Asper Xyllus mushroom
2- Fusarium fungus that produces a dangerous poison.
Complications caused by fungal poisoning cause weakness and lethargy, thinning of egg shell, decrease in growth rate and decrease in meat quality and increase in herd losses.
Position hygiene:
In order to maintain the health of the poultry, having a suitable and hygienic place or nest is very important and necessary, so in preparing the place and keeping the poultry, the following points should be carefully observed.
1- The direction of the nest should be south. so that the sun’s light and heat reach the nest sufficiently.
2- In order to stay away from moisture and water, care should be taken so that the nest is not facing the rain and is built higher than the surrounding ground.
3- By installing the valve in the nest, it should be allowed for sufficient ventilation inside the nest.
4- The area of the nest should be suitable for the number of birds available (8-10 chickens per square meter)
5- Make the nest from the appropriate material and in such a way that it can be easily washed and disinfected.
6- One should pay enough attention to the heat and cold points of the nest, especially for chickens who are more sensitive to this issue.
7- The place of poultry should not be wet and muddy.
8- Newborn chicks should be kept away from adult birds for at least one month.
9- All types of poultry should not be kept together. As much as possible, chickens and roosters should be separated from ducks and geese.
10- The nest should always be clean and washed and disinfected every once in a while.
11- By liming the circulation area and around the nest, microbes, parasites and other polluting agents should be destroyed.
12- Industrial chickens should not be kept next to native and local poultry.
Nutritional health:
1- You should not use leftover, moldy and contaminated food for feeding.
2- Clean and pollution-free water should be used for drinking poultry.
3- Food and drinking containers should always be clean.
4- Use fresh vegetables to feed poultry.
5- Food residues in the table that are used by poultry must be free of contamination.
6- After boiling and cooking the remains of chicken carcasses and bones bought from outside, provide them for feeding and never use them raw.
