General information about the first week of hatching and the criteria of how to check the losses of day-old chicks in the first week of rearing
1- Buyers of day-old chickens (poultry farmers) are obliged to personally (or the authorized representative of the poultry farmers
) To deliver the cargo, visit the hatchery factory and get information about the quality of the delivered chicken.
2- The mother hen farms are obliged to perform the necessary tests according to the instructions of the veterinary organization and include them in the health certificate, and the responsibility for the correctness of the certificates lies directly with the day-old chicken producer company.
3- The management of the hatchery is obliged to hand over the day-old chicken health certificate of this organization, which is signed and stamped by the veterinarian of the hatchery, to the day-old chicken buyers. Those who do not have the mentioned certificate are not covered by the protection of this organization, in case of conducting tests on chickens in the first week and proving the contradiction of the results with the contents of the health certificate of the broiler breeder’s complaint, regardless of other clauses (except for clauses 5 and 6). can be handled
4- Day-old chicks should be transported by special day-old chick transport trucks. Otherwise, any problems caused by non-standard transportation will be the responsibility of the chicken delivery (hatchery factory).
5- In the event that the veterinary departments of the provinces declare areas as the center of a contagious disease and ban hatching for a certain period. In the case of hatching in the mentioned areas within the announced time limit, the complaints of poultry farmers will not be processed in case of casualties.
6- Broiler breeders must have a hatchery permit from the veterinary department, and the complaints of poultry farmers who do not have a hatchery permit will not be considered.
7- Poultry breeders are required to comply with the broiler health regulations that have been sent to the veterinary departments.
8- Poultry farmer is obliged to immediately notify the veterinary department of the city in case of casualties in the first week of the breeding period for the necessary sampling to determine the cause of the casualties.
9- In case of unusual losses in the first week, the poultry farmer is obliged to inform the mother hen company producing day-old chicks in writing (via telegraph, express mail, etc.) at the same time as notifying the local veterinary department. Mother chicken company is obliged to send an expert (veterinarian doctor) to visit the mentioned poultry farm, prepare the necessary samples and send them to the authorized laboratories and prepare a report if desired.
10- The general veterinary administrations of the provinces take action to check the status of meat and mother herds and, if necessary, communicate with other general administrations where mother herds are raised in their field of activity and announce the final opinion. The theory of the city veterinary department without the approval of the general veterinary department is invalid for judicial authorities
