Getting a full admission from England is competitive and maybe even more difficult than anywhere else. Because you either have to compete to win a scholarship with high amounts (which covers both tuition and living), or apply for a position (again, a position which covers the amount of tuition for international students). Make sure that the university website has a scholarship for an international PhD student in your field and the amount is equal to the annual tuition of an international student + 15,000 pounds. As for the position, it must cover these two amounts, which mostly cover the tuition fees for UK students, and you have to pay the difference. So only in the case that I explained, the acceptance will be full.
If you have this condition, you can email the teacher. Usually 80-90% of the professors answer quickly. If you submit a proposal and the professor’s interview is OK, then almost everything is over and you will go to the application process and you will be accepted very quickly. But they don’t fund or the amount is almost insignificant. Then you have to apply and compete for the scholarship. If the university does not have a suitable scholarship, all the effort and time you spent will be wasted. Therefore, check the site first and then send an email, in the first email, the teacher will definitely ask what the source of the fund is, and it is better to mention the scholarship that is suitable for you and say that you want to compete for it.
