Great sadness, great work

Great sadness, great work
(Shajarians who are forgotten)

Let’s think for a moment that Shajarian was not known. He read alone and went alone. A teacher would not hold his hand. Yarani did not circle the circle. Ebtahaji did not allow him to attend. what would happen what a nightmare

Not all cultural and scientific elites get the chance to be recognized. Especially in the conditions of our society and societies like ours, involved in tyranny and inequality in education and economic pressures, they do not find the opportunity and possibility to be recognized. There are so many artists, writers and researchers who, despite their quality and effort, are not recognized and appreciated even by educated people and people of science. Many are known only after death, and many others are lost in the alleys of a society’s history.

Appreciation and being recognized does not necessarily depend only on the individual and his artistic, cultural and scientific quality. Various social, cultural, political and economic factors must work hand in hand for an elite to be seen and noticed and sit at the top. Fortunately, these factors happened to a large extent for Shajarian. He was recognized and appreciated by the society. It is true that the rulers and people of power did not appreciate him and rejected him. But his society and his colleagues in art and people of culture knew what a valuable and educated being lived in their time.

History is hard to forget. Contrary to what they say, history does not remember by itself. Memory and remembering is a social thing. To be remembered and recognized, one must have a discovery project. Researchers and people of culture and art should be aware of this natural desire to forget. As bold and persistent explorers, they should seek to discover the quality faces of their own culture and art. We must know and know. This discovery, preservation and introduction is not possible except by spending life and knowledge. We must take ourselves seriously. To take our scientific, cultural and artistic figures seriously. We should look for the Shajarians who are breathing in anonymity beside us, creating in silence, with a careful, analytical and critical look. They do research. They create But they are on the verge of being forgotten.

Today, #Morteza_Farhadi, #Najib_Mayel_Heravi, #Hadi_Seif, #Zhaleh_Amoozgar, #Naser_Takmil_Homayoun, #Abdullah_Kothari, #Mohammed_Ahasaei, #Mahmoud_Zand_Moghadam, #Javad_Majabi, #Jalal_Stari, #Hassan_Mortzawi, #Mohammedreza_Daro Yeshi is a researcher. These names and many more of these figures who are the masters of their fields and are still breathing among us and have not seen the value they deserve. Their lives and works need to be researched and spent a lifetime to get to know them. Otherwise, they will be forgotten in silence. That’s when we get lost. In every area, in every city, in the corners of non-western and neighboring lands, there are unknown Shajarians. Let’s discover them before forgetting.

Let’s turn today’s great sadness into a great work. Let’s take ourselves seriously.
