Hello friends, have a good time
In the next few days, the workshop for making active parametric hangers is going to be held.
This workshop aims to complete, build and improve the active bending shell that is located in the college. This project is smaller and has less workload than the previous workshop. The dimensions of the work are 2.1 x 2.4 with a height of 2.15 and this structure is supposed to hang from the ceiling.
This project is being carried out as a research project and we are supposed to find a way to create self-standing compression frames by segmenting them and creating appropriate connections, and due to the research nature of the workshop, the duration of the project is variable and may take between 2 weeks and 4 weeks.
This shell is going to be hung from the ceiling of the Faculty of Architecture, and like the previous workshop, it is the construction site of the basement of the faculty. The initial schedule currently considered is as follows:
Monday, March 15
Making the frame around the shell and parts related to cable and shell installation
Tuesday, March 16
Separating the previous parts from the shell, connecting the shell to the frame and installing the necessary connections to connect to the roof
Tuesday, March 23
Assembling the plate connecting the shell to the roof and installing it
Wednesday, March 24
Connecting the shell to the plate attached to the roof
Capacity: 12 people
Registration fee: 2.500 Tomans
