How to increase the probability of the desired gender in our child?
There are only a few approved and scientific methods that have relatively high success in determining the gender of the child. These techniques include PGD, CVS and FC.
The definition of PGD* method is genetic diagnosis on the embryo before its transfer and implantation in the uterus.
In the CVS** method, it is done by sampling placental villi or amniocentesis sample and fetal chromosomes. In this way, they find out the gender of the fetus at the very beginning of pregnancy.
Microsort (FC***) is the separation of sperm containing X chromosome and sperm containing Y chromosome, which is done using laser light, color and a device called flow cytometry. Once the sperms are sorted, the desired sperm sample enters the woman’s body through artificial insemination methods. This method is available in limited centers in America. Freezing and sending sperm to those centers reduces the success of the process.
Although some of the following points have been tested or reported in studies, they are not completely confirmed and scientific.
Daughter:
Do not have sex two days before and two days after ovulation.
About 3 days before ovulation is the right time when most of the sperm containing the X chromosome (female sperm) remain in the reproductive system and wait for the release of the egg to fertilize it.
Certain positions**** increase the probability of fertilization with X sperm.
It is recommended to consume dairy products, rice, low-salt foods, mineral water, limit meat and limit potatoes. Also, avoid salt, fresh fruit, spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms as much as possible.
Son:
It is better not to have sex for at least 5 days before ovulation.
The time interval close to ovulation should be as close as possible. Sperm containing the Y chromosome (boy sperm) is faster than the X chromosome. Therefore, the number of sperm with Y chromosome will reach the egg, and we will have a higher chance of fertilization with this sperm.
Some positions***** increase the probability of sperm being close to the cervix and the survival of Y sperm. Also, a woman’s orgasm is due to the creation of vaginal alkaline secretions, which are suitable for carrying sperm with the Y chromosome.
Men should avoid wearing tight clothes. Heat destroys sperm, especially those containing the Y chromosome.
Eat foods such as slightly salty foods, meat, fish, fresh fruit, white flour and avoid foods such as dairy products and oil seeds.
