I am a Hazara, from a land called Afghanistan

I am a millennial, from a land called Afghanistan. My ancestors were killed by the rulers. My land is angry. I have heard bad language and been humiliated in the administration, the army, the road and the shop. It is that I have always sought an honorable life. In order to achieve this humane and honorable life, I have understood that:

Girls should go to school;
Women should be active in social fields;
Music is not forbidden and is part of our culture;
Learning modern sciences is necessary for a better life; and
Individual freedoms make people live happier and more comfortable lives.

Now a group, which does not have a common language with me, does not have a common religion with me, does not have a common interest with me, does not know about my suffering and has never been sincere in friendship with me, comes and orders me to I act against what I think. He says, don’t send your daughter to school, don’t listen to music, wear black clothes, confine women at home, stop learning modern sciences and don’t talk about individual freedoms.

here,

If I say that I cannot live with this group in the same country, they say, you are talking about division and this is treason.

If I say that this bearded uncle, who has forbidden my life, takes manpower from your area and uses your language to build a stronghold against mine, they will say that you are not the only victim, we are also suffering, so shut up.

If I shout that this stupid uncle is ruining my generation and committing genocide, they say, we will also be killed by this brother, so don’t shout.

If I say that Ghani and Karzai, who were at the head of affairs, ruined Afghanistan’s golden period and took the country to the edge of the abyss, and this woolly uncle dominated me, they will tell me about your leaders too.

I like Laghman, Kandahar, Nangarhar, Paktia and Zabul. I wish I could live with the people of these provinces. I would like to trade Kandahar pomegranates with Bamiyan potatoes. I will buy Nangarhar oranges with the money of Daikandi almonds. But, the people there do not adhere to my values. They themselves have chosen the primitive way of life or they will be sold very soon and fall into the hands of another country to make life bitter for themselves and us. In the past few years, we realized that Ghani does not represent the people of Logar. Karzai does not represent the people of Kandahar. The people of Kandahar are crazy about religion and love the blessings of God that come through religion. The people of Nangarhar are in love with Pakistani Islam and in this way they are ready to burn the university or build an ISIS base.

For a while, we gathered under one flag to fight against Talib and Talib’s thoughts in order to achieve that honorable life. Karzai and Ghani supported Talib and his ideas in broad daylight. Taleb was released from prison and sent back to the battlefield. They gave them money and weapons. Ghani gave all the facilities of the army to the enemy and collapsed the provinces so that no one could stand against the Taliban.

In short, we are sad. We are on the side of those who neither live nor let us live. It’s a giant game, officially. We are stuck on a branch that we can neither go up nor down.
