I remember as much about my history as against the American advertisements! Does it help anyone to know my date of birth?
Sadegh Hedayat is one of the founders of modern Iranian fiction writing. With his unique ideology and pen, Hedayat drew a different perspective from the common currents and traditions of the society. He, who along with “Mohammed Ali Jamalzadeh”, “Sadegh Chobak” and “Bozur Alavi”, created a new path in Persian fiction writing, is considered the heir of great men such as Khayyam and Hafez, who, with his art and eloquence, shot the arrow of protest against tyranny and beliefs. Most of the society is pointing.
Protest and criticism are an important part of Sadeq Hedayat’s works. Superstitions, excessive religiousness, sovereignty, tyranny, war and even the seemingly beautiful aspects of life are not safe from the sting of Hedayat’s pen. The world that guidance creates is due to the truth of the times. Line by line of his writings show the escape from this future; The suffering that the audience accepts to see the reality of society from a new perspective. and reminds the dark truth of the world; To the extent that “absence stops suffering from man” and makes it appear clear.
Sadegh Hedayat does not belong to any literary and philosophical school. He follows his style and ideology in writing and uses it in translation as well. For this reason, the works of guidance have their own special audiences and enthusiasts. In addition to the fame of fiction writing in Iran, Hedayat also has many audiences in the western world. In addition to creating stories, he has also been in charge of translating the famous works of the great writers of the world and is considered a master of style in this field.
Hedayat’s honest ideology and outlook on life, while being free-thinking and emancipating from traditions and beliefs, is committed to humanity and comes from his love for Iran. The world that Hedayat draws, despite all the darkness and fear, is not free of human aspects. Undoubtedly, behind his mysterious stories and realistic view, Hedayat has another image of Iranian society, which remains a lost ideal. An ideal that he may not forget until he inhales the last methane molecules.
If we have to eat something for pain, why should we still not be cured of that pain after all the time that has passed since eternity, and isn’t there a fear that we will not cure this basic pain forever?
Can we accept that one day this wandering and suffering will end incurably? I also know that it takes years and sometimes centuries to find a good man (like myself) and subject himself to useless thoughts except for my stomach and lower abdomen and say (God, I’m telling the truth, sedition is from you) or You called me bad) and put a bag on your head and comfort yourself, and voilà, I don’t know why I am one of those rare and rare people who have these kinds of thoughts and when I hear that (the play of God’s power) I say to myself, I wish I could get rid of being a doll behind the curtain.
There are feelings, there are things that can’t be understood or said to others, they make fun of you, everyone judges others according to their own thoughts.
