A. From the point of view of Hafez of the Qur’an: The attractiveness and beauty of Hazrat Yusuf caused Zuleikha to fall into the trap of lust (greed):
I knew about the ever-increasing goodness that Yusuf had
that love brings out the veil of innocence.
It means: Abundant interest in carnal desires, that is, greed, which leads Zulekha astray.
B. From the perspective of the seeker of truth: Abundant interest in worldly possessions makes the teeth of greed sharper and sharper.
I knew about the ever-increasing treasure that Hatem had
It becomes easy to forgive what is ours
It means a great interest in accumulating worldly goods, which makes the greedy to give away a small part of it.
From Attar’s point of view:
The curtain must be torn
False repentance leads to failure.
It means maintaining balance in all matters.
