The approval of some laws such as the tax law on empty houses, the law related to judicial security and the nuclear issue confirm this; But we are still far from the expectations and we hope that with the start of the new government, the anticipated goals will be achieved.
According to the student’s report, not long ago, Mahmoud Olyaei, the vice-chairman of the Social Responsibility Commission of the Iran Chamber, pointed out that some companies go to charities in order to avoid taxes, and stated: the Ministry of Economy does not accept CRS expenses as acceptable expenses from companies and they turns it back; Therefore, they try other ways for tax evasion and money laundering.
Olyaeli explained about the method of money laundering through charities: usually the owner of a factory or a bazaar registers a charity and then instead of receiving money from the customer, they ask him to deposit the money into the charity’s account as a donation to the charity instead. Others will spend it. This procedure is also commonly used to receive bribes.
