Let’s go to the heights of love on wet feet of rain
In the face of humans, light, plants and insects
let’s open

We have a poet named Sohrab Sepehri, whose poems are neither praises for the ruling party nor obscenities for the opposition.
He has a poem about a bird drinking water:
Do not muddy the waters
It seems to be below
A hyena drinks water

A famous Iranian critic writes a loud criticism on his works that:
In the situation that America is dropping napalm bombs in Vietnam and killing people, are you worried about drinking water from a pigeon?
Sepehri answers him in a friendly assembly:
That, my dear friend, is the root of the matter. For people who do not learn from poetry to worry about feeding a pigeon, assassination in Vietnam or anywhere else is a matter of course.
One of my friends was a guest at Sepehri’s place one night. During the conversation, Suski entered the room and my friend was going to kill him with a slipper. Sepehri stopped him and said:
You can only tell him not to come to your room.

Our friend catches the cockroach with a slipper and throws it outside. Sepehri cries that the owner of his life was injured in this world and asks my friend:
Have you not thought about what will happen if this cockroach’s leg breaks in the middle of the night, and considering that cockroaches are not civilized enough to have a hospital like us? be
Pay attention to this poetic view. If human nature is so gentle as to worry about a pigeon drinking from clear water or worrying about a cockroach getting injured, naturally, all this does not incite violence and does not easily kill people everywhere. In the cinema for sale and box office, the ugliness does not eliminate it.
My impression is that we first tried violence on animals. Then we were drawn to violence on humans. The German people first started killing dogs in the streets with the justification that public health was endangered, but they forgot that this was the first practice. It is to light the flame of war. Historians forgot to record this dog killing as a historical fact and psychologists forgot to measure its effect on the psyche of the German people. Because it was the era of doctors and the era of saving the human race from rabies.
Accepting violence with animals, with children and accepting the display of violence to children and accepting the display of violence in cinema and television is the basis of the barbarity of seemingly civilized human beings, and unfortunately no one thinks of censoring violence.
Life is color
