Daily salary tips
Note 33: Working hours in hard and harmful jobs are 6 hours and 156 hours in 30-day months and 162 hours in 31-day months.
Note 34: It is forbidden to apply overtime in hard and harmful work, even with the agreement of the worker, such as working in a mine
Note 35: According to the civil law, a month has 30 days, so to calculate the daily salary, we must divide the monthly salary by 30.
Tip 36: To convert working hours to working days, it is enough to divide the working hours by 7.33. 7.33 means 7 hours and 20 minutes, for example, 120 hours is equivalent to 16.37 days.
Note 37: Monthly benefits are calculated and paid based on monthly work, for example, the right to housing, food and groceries and the like are calculated based on work. If a worker works on an hourly basis, first the working hours are divided by 33/7 into the day. It is converted and then the benefits are calculated and paid based on the days earned.
For example, if a worker works 100 hours per month, first we divide this 100 hours by 7.33, which is 64.13 days, and based on the calculated days, we calculate the benefits. First, we divide 4,000,000 rials by 30 days, which becomes 334/133 rials. Now we multiply the above amount by the number of working days obtained, i.e. 64/13, which gives 1,818,667 rials. That is, for 100 hours of work, the amount of 1,818,667 Rials is paid for the right to food and beverages.
Note 38: Deduction of work should not be calculated on a holiday. Because it is not a worker’s duty on a holiday, except for workers who are required to work on a holiday according to the contract (work shift) such as police forces, doctors and the like.
Note: according to the labor law, one day of the week must be designated as the worker’s official holiday. That is, the worker must have one day off per week, which in most businesses and enterprises is the weekly holiday corresponding to Friday (Iran’s official weekly holiday). .
Note 39: Night working hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and for night work, an additional 35% is added to the fixed wage (base wage). For example, if the fixed wage is 90,000 Rials per hour and the worker works 50 hours in If he works at night, his salary is equal to:
50 × 90,000 × 1.35 = 6,075,000
Note 40: May 11th is an official holiday for workers, and if workers work on this day, 40% extra overtime is paid per hour.
