Middle Easterners have been “blooded” in our lives

Mustafa Danandeh

In the movie “Jester”, Shapur works in a restaurant and eats tuna every day. When he opens it, he finds hair in it and calls the manufacturer. Kazem Khan, played by (Ali Nasiryan), who is the owner of the shop, says to his student every day: “My hair is my shop! Get rid of this unfortunate factory! He has ruined our lives!”

The current state of the Middle East these days is the current state of Salmani’s comedy movie shop. The Middle East has been washed away by blood and we raise our voices and protest against this and that, while the blood is our own.

Middle Easterners have been “blooded” in our lives

We, the people of the Middle East, are still involved in ethnic and religious games. We are still fighting between Shiites and Sunnis. We still do Kurdish, Turkish, Arab and Persian.

The interesting thing is that if, for example, a Kurd or an Arab had been born on the other side of the Turks, maybe his race and religion would have been different. Really, why did we end up killing each other and killing each other because of a phenomenon that was not in our hands? .

In our own Iran, there is this ethnic and racial superiority. Tehrani and Shahristan, what kind of ridiculous game have we started? Why do we make fun of Afghans because they were born in a land whose star has never aligned.

The superiority of each person over another is only in humanity. We, the people of the Middle East, have taken some issues very seriously and entered the “blood game”.

See the painful pictures of these days in Syria to understand the depth of the tragedy. What does ISIS kill people for? Just because of their race and belief. Because he thought that anyone who is not against them is against them.

The Middle East does not see peace because its people still think that race is the reason for their superiority. This shows how geographically the Middle East is poor in education. Maybe these countries are full of oil and wealth, but they are in dire need of education.

We must learn that being from Tehran, being Turkish, or being Shiite or Sunni is not a reason for superiority. If we want to be superior, we must produce our own work. This work can be in literature, art or technology. See developed countries. They show their superiority over other countries by conquering their markets.
Our Iran shows itself with its history. With a history full of poetry, philosophy and literature.

All those who want to be superior to others because of their race and religion will definitely have blood on their hands. When there is no logic, the sword will definitely come to the scene. Racial and ethnic prejudices are a great sign of ignorance, and as mentioned in the Tazkira of Awliya “Attar”, there is no greater sin than ignorance.

In the book “Holy Ignorance” Ayatollah Mohaghig Damad has stated:

“The most important, or at least one of the most important social plagues, not only in the Islamic region, but perhaps all over the world, religious communities suffer from it, is sacred ignorance. Holy ignorance is ignorance that has a sacred dimension. In such ignorance, an ignorant person burns in ignorance.”
