The mayor of Region 9 announced the opening and commissioning of the 15 kW solar power plant at the same time as the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in the 97th campaign of hope and honor.
According to the public relations report of Region 9 municipality, Seyyed Mohammad Rahim Mortazavi, the mayor of the region, said in the 97th Omid and Iftikhar campaign: The ceremony of unveiling the environmental package of Tehran municipality with the approach of energy management and renewable resources coincides with the arrival of the holy days of the Fajr decade. The video conference was held at the same time as the opening of the environmental projects of Al-Ghadir Technical Inspection Center as the Sabze and Solar Power Plant Technical Inspection Center of Region 21 and hosted by Tehran Technical Inspection Headquarters.
Pointing to the importance of resource and energy management in order to improve the consumption pattern and achieve the goals of sustainable development, Mortazavi considered region 9 as one of the leading regions in this regard and added: We are obliged to produce 20 kilowatts of electricity annually according to the energy roadmap of Tehran Municipality. To supply through the construction of solar power plants in the municipal buildings of this region. For this purpose, the 15 kilowatt solar power plant of the special base of the Crisis Management Headquarters of Region 9 was built and operated in the form of a grid (connected to the national grid) consisting of 28 solar panels of 550 watts.
Mortazavi further said: this power plant with a capacity of 15 kilowatts will be able to produce 22,500 kilowatt hours of electricity per year and reduce 17 tons of CO2 greenhouse gas, which can play a role in reducing the emission of environmental pollutants and the air pollution crisis in Tehran. have a punishment
