Documenting is not something separate from the activity itself. If we distinguish between documentation and recording, it is exactly in this direction. Recording is an artificial thing that is used to indicate something that has not been done. There is also the same understanding of the term recording in popular speech.
But documentation is not an artificial work, but a natural thing that takes place along with the activities, that is, it is a natural consequence of the work.
If there has been no activity in the school and we are looking to show that something has been done at this time, we have started recording, remember that we still do not distinguish between recording and documenting, and we consider recording as a normal thing in school, for example, for a meeting. which was held a few days ago, now we are preparing the minutes of the meeting, we are looking to find undated photos from the previous year to use this year as well, this has become normal for us and has entered our public culture.
As long as we make a difference and separation between the completed work and its documentation, we have gone wrong and our work is recording and it is natural that we will always be dissatisfied with this work and we will criticize the Tadbir program for relying on documentation.
But if something is really done, the documentation is formed along with it and at the same time, and these two are inseparable, in fact, the documentation of that work is a part of the work itself. The documents are the works of work done in the school in any form, either in paper or digital form
Therefore, the documentation of any work is a natural and inseparable consequence of that work, which will be obtained without any effort, because it is foreseen in the process of doing that work, when we talk about holding meetings of the school council, teachers’ council, and parents’ association, the preparation of minutes for these partial meetings It is part of the work itself, when we approve a resolution, it will not have a legal form until it is included in the relevant part, and therefore, the documentation is a part of the work itself, and if we are weak in documentation, it means that we are weak in doing the work itself. We cannot present for the meetings of the teachers’ council. It means that we have a problem in holding the meetings and we cannot do the work properly.
In the end, the documentation of every work and the documentation for every action is a part of the implementation of that work and is not a separate and delayed thing. Weakness in documentation is not a weakness in presenting the work done, but a weakness in the execution of the work, and I see it as the reason for doing things incorrectly. I know, otherwise, if something is done correctly, its documentation will be created at the same time as its implementation.
Let’s divide the documents into two types: 1-direct and first-hand documents, 2-indirect and second-hand documents.
The first type of documentation is the visible and referable result of the work itself when we talk about the emotional atmosphere in the school or the general health of the school. The results we see and understand are their documentation, and there is no need to take pictures or play paperwork.
But in the second type of documents, the results of the work are not visible at the moment, and you must provide the documents that were obtained during the execution of the work, which, of course, I also explained that it should not be artificial and fake, but the logical and natural result of the work done.
