The Director General of Amirabad Port announced the unloading of a ship carrying 3,800 tons of livestock corn as a single shipment by rail for the first time in Amirabad Port.
Mehr: Mohammad Ali Musapour, Director General of Amirabad Port, stated that the unloading of a ship carrying 3,800 tons of livestock corn was carried out by rail for the first time in Amirabad Port. North, Amirabad Customs and companies active in the field of grain trade in the Amirabad Port Rail Transport Working Group, the first complete grain shipment was carried out in this port through rail transport.
Stating that this shipment of 3,800 tons of corn was imported from Russia, he stated that this shipment was transported by 55-ton wagons from Amirabad port to Pishgaman dry port in Yazd.
Musapour stated that one of the important goals of Amirabad port is the development of rail transport: in this regard, he announced the conclusion of a memorandum of cooperation between Amirabad port and Pishgaman dry port of Yazd in the field of transit, export and import of goods in the near future.
The Director General of Amirabad Port listed the most important advantages of the direct grain transportation method to preserve the quality of goods due to the elimination of frequent loading and unloading and stopping in the warehouse, shortening of transportation time, reduction of environmental pollution, and reduction of casualties and road accidents.
