Professor Katouzian is forever immortal
Professor Katouzian’s name will forever immortalize through his works and love for justice
The head of the Center for the Bar Association said: I believe that Dr. Katouzian is one of those whose names will truly be immortalized, both in terms of the works he left behind and the love he had for justice.
According to ISNA, Hosseinabadi, at the ceremony commemorating Professor Katouzian, coinciding with the third anniversary of his passing, recited a poem by Hafez, stating that unlike Mr. Keshavarz, who is a fraud and a gross fraudster, I do not feel like a fraudster, and said: We have a lot of words. I must say that I benefited less from the professor than I should have. But I served him for about 45 years, but I was not able to fully utilize it. I am disappointed that I did not use his services as I should have. In a question and answer session, I was asked what your relationship is with Professor Katouzian? I remembered a poem by Malek al-Shu’ara Bahar, who had guaranteed Saadi’s poetry, which says, “The perfection of the companion has affected me, otherwise I am the same as the dust I am.”
He stated: “The scientific issues of the professor were called by friends. But the question must be asked: what made Professor Katouzian unique? One characteristic and characteristic cannot bring a person to this reputation. His scientific system and research method made him outstanding in terms of science, but this issue alone did not have an effect. One of his contemporaries said that the book should be released soon, but in fact, sometimes they would postpone the publication to print the professor’s secondary article.
He added: “His steadfastness in his principles and character are well expressed in the book Where Do I Come From?” An important point to note is that he never strained himself. He had extraordinary respect for professors, but he neither exaggerated nor strained himself towards anyone else.
Hosseinabadi noted: When Dr. Katouzian was expelled from the university, no one approached him. He never felt the slightest bit of smallness or humiliation from 1948 until the end of his life. After entering the university, he was not involved in any pride. He was neither proud of his honor nor did he feel small when he was on the sidelines.
The head of the Center Bar Association added: There is a proverb that says that what is lost in the heart is lost in the eye. This proverb is true for ordinary people. I believe that Dr. Katouzian is one of those whose name is truly lasting, both in terms of the works he left behind and in terms of the love he had for justice.
