According to their body needs, chickens should sit away from heat. When the chicks are transferred directly from the hatcher to the canopy during the day, they need a heat lamp during the night for the first two weeks. Shade, even in the form of tree shade, is an important factor for ostriches of all ages. When you are considering having your own hatching equipment, you should consider the dimensions of the required room, which depends on the purchased incubator and hatcher. You need a room for the incubator, a room for the hatcher, a place to clean the eggs and an optional place to store the eggs before placing them in the incubator.
