Cyrus Charter:
When I (= Cyrus) came to Babylon and asked for reconciliation
With joy and happiness in my royal palace, I built my lord, Marduk, the great lord, my open hearted love, who is the lover of Babylon.
And (when) my very friendly soldiers marched inside Babylon, I did not let anyone (in any place) be afraid in all the lands of Sumer and Akkad.
I had (the city of) Babylon and all (other) holy cities in abundance. The helpless inhabitants of Babylon, who had yoked them despite the will of the gods (?) not according to them.
I solved their helplessness and freed them from poverty.
Marduk, the great god, was pleased with my actions
(Then) me, Cyrus, the king who worships him, and Cambyses, my begotten son, and all my troops.
With magnanimity, he gave more and we happily, in complete harmony, our deeds appeared beautiful in his eyes and we praised the highest foundation {God}. By his command (= Marduk) all the kings sat on Aurang Shahi
And all the (kings) of the world from the bottom sea (= Mediterranean Sea) to the Zebrin Sea (= Persian Sea), (all) the inhabitants of distant lands, all the Amorite kings, the dwellers in tents, all of them
Ransom and save many of them on my behalf; (= Cyrus) they brought me to Babylon and kissed my feet.

Agadeh, the land of Ashnona, (the city of) Zamban, (the city of) Meh-Turno, far to (the end of) the regions of the land of the Gothians, and also (all) the holy cities on the other side of the Tigris, which had been destroyed long ago, (I rebuilt).
(And also the bodies of) the gods that I returned to their original places in the middle of those cities (= places) and I placed (all those bodies) forever in their (first) place (and) all those people (who were scattered) were), I provided and returned them to their positions.
(and also the image of) the gods of Sumer and Akkad, who were not buried (Bibim) had been brought to Babylon by the order of Marduk, the great god, because of the anger of the lord of the gods (= Marduk)
I sat in their places of worship – places that make their hearts happy
Every day in front of God (= Marduk) and the prophet, ask for a long life on my behalf and always speak words in my favor, with benevolent words. May they say to Marduk, my God, that Koresh, the king who (with fear) worships you, and Kamboji his son
Do not doubt, until then they will be productive again with days without any break. All the people of Babylon honored the kingdom, and I settled all (the people) of the lands in a peaceful abode.
{One? A goose, two ducks and ten fat moons (fat) more than (the usual custom of giving) geese, ducks and moons.
I will add to them. I tried to strengthen the “Imgur-Enlil” rampart, the great rampart of the city of Babylon, and
{}The side wall (made of) bricks on the side of the moat of the city, which (one of) the previous kings {built and (built) did not finish}.

They built large and wide gates of cedar wood with a cover of bronze, with thresholds and heels of cast copper. Wherever their gates were (found).
I made it stable
There is an inscription on a tablet (on the door) with the name of Ashurbani Pal Shahi more than me in the middle of it (= building).
