# Tips
In order to apply for a second doctorate or a postdoc, the problem here is that we have to carry out several projects at the same time:
1. PhD, postdoc and research assistant
2. Finding a top, new topic with creativity and innovation related to the concerns of the other side, related to here and in our own field of interest that we can apply.
Important:
1. Creating an academic CV, because the professor has to pull out all your information in one minute
2. Finding the topic and working on it and writing a text of at least one to two pages in a specific way (if you have a direct email to the professor), if the position is predefined, you should adjust your proposal based on that text. The body of the email should be very short, about four paragraphs, very neat with indentation and following the editing tips:
The first paragraph of your introduction
The second paragraph is the introduction of your academic background and achievements and innovations
The third paragraph is a brief introduction and explanation about your new idea (but not with details that could be stolen). This is the most important paragraph, which is considered to be the key to your email.
The fourth paragraph is the reason for choosing the professor and the relevant department
