Work primer
During the galvanized sheet coating process, one of the basic and vital steps is the use of a latex-based primer. This step is very important, because it has a great impact on the quality and durability of the final color coating. The latex base primer is prepared on a water basis and applied as the first layer on the sheet. This primer layer increases adhesion and uniform painted coverage and provides a favorable surface for the painting process. It is very important to use a water-based primer to prevent zinc coating from reacting.
After applying the primer and performing the previous steps, the sheet is transferred to the oven, where the primer is baked and prepared. This step takes about 15 to 60 seconds. After leaving the furnace, the sheets are cooled using water or air. The last step in coating the galvanized sheet is painting. Performing the above steps will create a suitable and uniform surface for painting. Therefore, the quality and durability of the paint increases significantly.
