Description:
The officers are very polite and friendly.
The first officer was a very good-natured and polite lady who only checked the documents.
The second officer was very friendly and asked me and my wife a lot of questions and gave chocolates to my daughter to distribute between us.
But finally, we went to the AP process because of my wife’s military service, which of course was in the army.
I saw the AP sheet in the documents of the officer, which shows that it was already known what their decision was. Then he gave me that paper because of my research.
He said that if you were not Iranian, all your documents would be complete and I would have given you the visa, but I hope you will understand that this is our job, and due to Iran’s past history, these checks must be done!
He asked for my CV, but he said it is not needed for my wife. Job did not ask for an offer.
He did not even ask for the last degree.
The next point that may be useful for families whose children turn 21 years old after the I-140 application (cspa law), is that my son was under 21 when I submitted my case and my son’s name is on the list for ds-260. and we paid the money and confirmation was issued for all four of us, but just two months after the welcome letter, my son’s name was removed from the list and I emailed nvc and said that the final decision maker is the officer on the day of the interview.
My son’s name was not in the interview email, and I emailed nvc again, saying that the case is out of our hands.
The only thing I could do was to put my son’s name in the register link so that his medical can be done and I wrote a memo with the help of my lawyer to convince them.
At nine o’clock we were at the embassy in Montreal, and unfortunately, at the door, the officer said that his name was not on the list and did not let him come up and sent him to the street! And well, it is clear what happened to all of us! (Of course, I hadn’t told him the story myself, and it turned out that I hadn’t either).
I went upstairs and we sat in complete stress for an hour until our number was seen on the monitor. I went behind the counter and first of all I told the officer who was a lady that I have to explain something. After explaining, I wanted to give him the memo that I had written with Chen’s help, but he didn’t look at it at all and said that they should calculate the age themselves, and very politely told me where is your son now when I said that he is waiting on the street. He said he has an identification document, I said yes, and then he said tell your wife to go upstairs, but I won’t check his documents until his age is calculated. Then he gave a traffic ticket to my wife.
He told me to leave my son’s documents to see what happens. Fingerprinting me, my wife and daughter. Then he asked for my son’s documents, but he didn’t take a fingerprint and said to sit down to see how old your son is!
We waited for two hours until he called me and said that I am right and my son should be in the case. Then we waited for another hour for them to interview us, and I think they were checking my son’s documents during this time, because everything was fine for him.
