informs that the Assistant and PHD Trade Union Council of Tehran University of Medical Sciences has been formed as one of the sub-categories of the University’s Cultural Student Vice-Chancellor and based on the regulation of trade union councils approved by the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education of the country.
According to the mentioned by-laws, the members of the union council are elected annually and after holding the election process from among volunteer assistants. In this way, the acceptability and legitimacy of this council has been obtained.
The mission of this council is to pursue and defend the union interests of PHD assistants and students.
The union council, with the support of the majority of its union and with the power of the union’s elected representatives, will pursue as much as possible the problems that are the priority of the union members at any point of time, and in this way, it will inform and increase the awareness of the assistants about their rights. will try
But it is obvious that bringing up and pursuing some issues that the assistants are the beneficiaries of, due to the possibility of conflict of interests or similar cases, will cause some people to express concern, sensitivity or even resistance.
Therefore, in the event of such cases, we announce that the union council will do its best to resolve the concerns and ambiguities of people who do not agree with the assistants’ union activities in any way and is ready to cooperate. But as long as it operates in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the morals and religion of Islam, it does not consider itself bound to satisfy everyone and as a trade association, it will support the interests of the assistants within the framework of ethics and law.
Considering the very strong role of assistants in advancing the organizational mission of university medical centers, we request all dear colleagues to cooperate with the union council members so that we can reduce the burden of dear assistants even a little bit.
