Special for cultural programs of Tehran Metro in the 35th International Book Fair
The vice president of cultural and social affairs of the Tehran and Suburban Railway Company announced the cultural activities of the Tehran Metro at the same time as the 35th International Book Fair.
Seyyed Mohammad Naqeeb said: Simultaneously with the start of the Tehran International Book Fair, programs have been planned in the metro stations with the initiative of the Vice President of Cultural and Social Affairs of the Tehran Metro Operating Company with the aim of promoting book culture and reading and with the slogan “Let’s read and build”.
He added: “Metro is the most effective means of public transportation for people who intend to go to the book exhibition, so programs have been prepared in this field so that visitors along the way can also receive services in this field, such as the screening of the photo exhibition with the theme of the book. Among them are the installation of stickers for selected books at Shahid Beheshti and Mosli stations, the creation of space and the installation of the book gate structure, and the implementation of the book flying arrangement plan at Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosli station with the theme of books.
Naqeeb stated: Considering that Shahid Beheshti and Mosli stations have the most traffic during the book fair, the book consultation counters with the presence of experts in this field will be ready to answer citizens’ questions in the field of books and reading at the same time as the book fair. was Also, book lovers can hold their purchased book and take a souvenir photo with the design of the book structure at Mossali station and receive a gift from the vice president of cultural and social affairs of Tehran Metro Operating Company.
The Vice President of Cultural and Social Affairs of Tehran Metro Operating Company continued: In order to promote and develop the book reading culture, the “Book Reader” plan is also implemented in Tehran Metro. One-page books are available to passengers at Shahid Beheshti station.
It should be mentioned that the 35th edition of the Tehran International Book Fair will start from 19 to 29 May 1403 at the Grand Mosque of Imam Khomeini (RA) at 10:00 am and the doors of the exhibition will be open until 8:00 pm for visitors and book lovers.
