Starting the plan to deal with the supply of goods without identification with 2500 inspectors from today
The plan to intensify dealing with the supply of goods without identification in the three areas of household appliances, spare parts and tobacco products will start from today, June 16.
According to the announcement of the anti-trafficking headquarters, from today, June 16, the plan to intensify dealing with the supply of goods without identification in the market will be implemented by the support organization, the provincial security organization, the police force and in cooperation with other security institutions.
This project is carried out with the aim of implementing the approvals of the Central Headquarters to fight against the smuggling of goods and currency and to prevent the supply of smuggled and counterfeit goods. The tobacco product begins.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade in April last year also started a similar plan called the plan to deal with smuggling at the supply level in the field of auto spare parts. Automobile spare parts, household appliances, cosmetics, clothing and tobacco were the first five priorities of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade’s plan to fight against smuggling of goods. But the plan was stopped after some time, which was followed by criticisms from the activists in the fields of clothing, household appliances and tobacco products.
Paloj, Director General of Combating Capital Goods Smuggling of the Organization of Support, stated that the Central Headquarters of Combating Goods Smuggling in Tehran and the General Departments of Industry and Mining in the cities are participating in the plan to intensify the supervision of capital goods smuggling, which will be implemented from today, and added: A total of 2,500 inspectors work in the country on all violations, including smuggling.
He said: There are two ways to implement the plan. In the first method, a case is filed for contraband with a value of less than 5 million tomans and after going through the legal procedures, it is handed over to the property acquisition organization.
He added: The value of many smuggling cases is more than 5 million tomans, which are discovered, filed and handed over to government punishments in the form of joint patrols.
Palog said: The minimum fine for smuggled goods is confiscation of the goods and 1.5 times the fine, and depending on the value of the smuggled goods, it is calculated in steps and the seized goods are removed from the owner’s possession.
He added: We have had the largest number of inspections and cases in the field of foodstuffs, tobacco, cosmetics, spare parts and household appliances.
Director General of Combating Capital Goods Smuggling said: In 1401, more than 5,800 cases worth 89 thousand billion Rials and 1,150 cases worth 7 thousand billion Rials have been filed through the integrated system. The inspection of “Simba” is sent to the inspection organization and assignment is determined.
He said: People can raise their complaints in this regard on the 124 system or the website of the support organization and the website of the Ministry of Industry and Mines, which will be investigated and acted upon in the shortest possible time.
