Field report: #Maryam_Atyabi, #Saeed_Fatohi

According to the report of the Heritage, “After a few minutes, Karam Khan’s sons, who were Atabak’s devotees, entered the room, brought a chair and passed a long, wide stick under the chair. Aziz al-Sultan Manijeh’s father, who was a short and thin man, came and sat on a chair. With the guard, they tore the Shah’s clothes from the back of the head from the collar to the skirt and put the Shah in front of that chair.

The two hands of Manijeh’s father were inserted from under the shirt and entered into the Shah’s sleeve, and they taught him to move the Shah’s hand and sometimes to touch the Shah’s mustache, and four people lifted the board under the chair, two at each end of the board. Two people took the back of the chair and brought it to the porch in front of the tomb.

The king’s carriage without a horse was present in front of the porch. First, Manijeh’s father was brought into the classroom, then they showed the Shah in front of him in the same order and told him to move the Shah’s hands with the same quality and wipe his mustache.

They took out the king’s sapphire glasses from his pocket and put them on his eyes. Atabak told me to be careful on the way, don’t say anything to anyone except to thank God that the king recovered by your hand and that the arrow hit his leg and his hands Clean it well from the blood.”

Now, right next to the same carriage made in Austria, you can review the memories of Dr. “Sheikh Mohammad Khan Ahya al-Molk” from the day of the assassination of Naseruddin Shah, but this time at the Museum of Historical Cars of Iran, 11th kilometer of Karaj Special Road, 25th Street.

On March 20, the officials of the foundation gathered at the Automobile Museum to open the “carriage corridor”. In this section, a collection of court and ceremonial carriages, public carriages and documents about this were unveiled for the first time.

But what stands out the most is the carriage that Naser al-Din Shah used to go to Golestan Palace after being assassinated in Abdul Azim Hosni’s shrine. and the carriage used by Muhammad Reza Pahlavi during his coronation.

The Naseri carriage is the oldest royal carriage in the country. This royal carriage was made by the order of Naseruddin Shah Qajar, in the workshop “Vegan Fabric” in Vienna, Austria, about 150 years ago. The carriage came to Iran in the 18th century during the time of “Fath Ali Shah”. During this period, a golden carriage was also presented to “Fath Ali Shah” by England and another carriage by Napoleon.

The carriage of Naser al-Din Shah, whose construction cost was about five thousand tomans, was last used by him in the shrine of Abdul Azim Hosni in the year 1275, and after that it was used in royal ceremonies. The color of this carriage became black during the Pahlavi era and was used in the celebration of the 2,500th anniversary of welcoming the Queen of England and the King of Denmark.
