The future Iran will become the most irreligious and secular Muslim country.

Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Zakai, professor of Qom seminary

In the not too distant future and with the death of the generations of the 40s and below, nothing called religion and belief will be seen among the young generations!

People see the cause of their poverty, wretchedness and trouble in ideology and express their happiness with the death of any cleric, especially the death of the responsible ones!

It seems that politics has caused a lot of damage to religion in our country and each of us has noticed the distance from religious beliefs among the people.

The only way to save religion and religion from further damage is to withdraw the clergy from government and political positions and address the religious issues of the society, which of course is too late and the 50-90 generations are mostly without religion.

On the radio, only religious people and religious society are shown, but under the skin of the city, we all know that there is no longer anything called religion among the majority of people, and hiding the face of the problem does not cure the pain of irreligion. .
In 43 years, we could not increase people’s beliefs or at least maintain it.
With all the budgets of several thousand billions, dozens of religious institutions and theological fields, practically their output has been zero and even negative!
Unfortunately, we have preferred pretentiousness and propaganda over educating the generation.

If we look at our family, relatives, colleagues and friends, we will find that except for a few old men and women who have been educated for many years, most of the educated people of the Islamic Republic do not even pray at all, they mock all the manifestations of religion!
Therefore, the future shows that Iran will become the most irreligious and secular Muslim country.
The signs of this fundamental change in the behaviors and demeanors of the youth and people are clear from what the officials say.
People’s unique acceptance of Nowruz and other non-religious national celebrations is one of the effects of this fundamental change in people’s opinions.
It is clear that if we spent large religious budgets on poverty eradication, we would achieve more results.

Some students tell me that we cannot go out wearing clerical clothes, because we will be insulted by people.
One day, one of the students said to me: I have a young child, I took his hand to go to the market for shopping, when I was leaving the house, he said to me: If you come in clerical clothes, I will not go out with you!

I was ashamed there with all my heart and I remembered the words of Ayatollah Taleghani who said: If the clergy enters the government, it will destroy not only itself, but also the religion!

I returned home and cried alone. My wife noticed my bad mood and asked why are you angry?  I said why not? Today, my young child challenged my 20 years of education in the field!
