The head of Nizhny Novgorod State Medical University called for more Iranian students to attend this university
Kazem Jalali, Iran’s Ambassador to Russia, on the second day of his visit to Nizhny Novgorod, on July 27, attended the medical university of this province, met with its president and other officials and discussed ways to develop cooperation in this sector.
Jalali announced that if Iranian students can attend Russian universities, including this university, without a doubt, they will be able to provide more knowledge and communication between the two countries after graduation. He further announced the readiness of Iranian universities to cooperate in scientific and research sectors.
“Niklai Karniakin”, the president of the provincial medical university, also stated that he has had good cooperation with Iranian universities in the past years, and they have signed 4 cooperation agreements so far, and expressed his hope that these cooperations will expand in the future.
7,500 students are studying in this university and according to the plan, it will increase to 9,500 by 2026. Every year, 1000 students graduate from this university.
