The lack of inputs is the main reason for the high price of chicken in the market/lack of supervision by the market regulation headquarters on the price of inputs
Hojjat, a member of the board of directors of the Meat Poultry Union, in an interview with the Young Journalists Club:
Currently, the approved price per kilo of corn is 1,500 tomans and soybean meal is 2,450 to 2,600 tomans, the difference between the price of corn and the black market is 90% and that of meal is 3 times.
The price of micronutrients has grown several times at a reasonable rate, and all these factors have led to an increase in production costs.
If the approved price is announced on an expert basis, the producers accept with pride and expect that the market regulation headquarters will manage the price of the inputs so that the corn and soybean meal reaches the chicken farmers at the approved price.
According to statistics, the amount of hatching is not different compared to the same period last year, which would increase the price of chicken in the market.
