The message of Engineer Bahman Momeni Moghadam on the occasion of Surveying Engineer Day
Engineer Bahman Momeni Moghadam, a member of the board of directors of the 9th term of Tehran province construction engineering system organization and the chairman of the board of the trade union society of surveying engineers of Iran, issued a message on the occasion of the 13th of Shahrivar month, the commemoration day of Abu Rehan Biruni and the day of the surveying engineer.
– Shahrivar, in the national calendar, is the birthday of the scientist of all ages and eternal professor of Iranian descent, Abu Rihan Biruni. This auspicious occasion has been named as the day of commemorating the position of surveying engineers, thanks to the pioneering activities in geodesy and cartography that we know today as branches of the mapping engineering tree.
– The field of mapping engineering is one of the few specialized fields that includes a wide range of sciences and the graduates of this field are present in almost all technical and engineering fields. The footprint of mapping engineering stands out in all fields of human construction, including urban planning, construction industry, road construction, agriculture, industries and mines, air and space sciences, sports activities and even the design of military equipment and tools, and we can boldly say that no engineering activity is without The presence of surveying engineers will not be operational.
– While these scholars of Abu Rihan Biruni school form an important part of the great engineering community of the country, they have always shined in the forefront of the civil engineering and development corps without any pretense, leaving behind the country’s history of epics and jihad, but their contribution to the passing of this expertise from economic indicators It is very insignificant and the inflation crises of the last few years of the country have seriously affected the livelihood of this group of engineers.
– This year, I intend to send a clear and loud message to officials, managers and decision-makers in the country’s macro-management field by choosing the slogan “Leave professional matters to experts with scientific and practical qualifications” with the aim of optimally doing things in the hands of domestic experts of specialized capacity. The field of mapping engineering should be used optimally in civil and national projects, and more importantly, we should be able to prevent the migration and outflow of valuable specialized capital of the society by creating sustainable employment capacity.
