The owner of the leveler of Qomiabad hill has inquired about the cultural heritage of Tehran province

The owner of the leveler of Qomi Abad hill has inquired about the cultural heritage of Tehran province!

The documents received by the heritage prove that not only the managers of the cultural heritage of Tehran province knew about the existence of Qomi Abad hill, but also that the owner inquired from them before leveling and construction.

According to the heritage report; In a letter dated April 19, 1402, which was signed by Abdul Mahdi Hematpour, the then director of Ray’s cultural heritage base, he addressed Nowruz Taghipour, the director of Ray’s cultural heritage, and stated: 19/1 With regard to the question of leveling the hill of Qomi Abad, it is brought to the notice that according to the visit of the said area and the fact that there are works from the Sassanid and Seljuk periods in this hill, therefore any excavation and leveling of the historical area of Qomi Abad will not be allowed.

According to the heritage report, it is emphasized in the law that if someone wants to do something in the cultural and historical sites, he must inquire from the cultural heritage offices and submit a request for a map and sketch, and if approved by these offices, the operation will be carried out with the help of an expert and supervision. or in some cases, due to the importance of the work, in general, no action will be issued.

1. It seems that for the General Department of Cultural Heritage of Tehran province, the expert opinions of Maysam Alaei, the current professor of the Department of Archeology of Gonabad University and the head of the excavation team of Qomi Abad hill in 2019, Qadeer Efround, an archaeologist and the current director of Ray Base and the supervisor of the excavations carried out in 2019, Dr. Abdul Mahdi Hematpour, an archaeologist and the former manager of the Ray Sand base, could not be trusted to easily announce that this hill was not historical after the news of the destruction was published in the media.

2. After sending the letter of Hemtipur, which practically prohibits any leveling, the General Administration of Cultural Heritage of Tehran province, in response to the applicant, what did he tell the owner in writing or verbally, that now he is forced to remove not only such a hill after it became media, Bikh and Ben should deny it, but place another site instead of Qomi Abad site, a site which according to archaeologists, according to its new findings, has pushed back the history of human habitation in Tehran by tens of thousands of years and to more than 40,000 years ago and maybe even It reaches about 80 thousand years ago.

3. According to the documents that are in the possession of the heritage, the largest amount of pottery in Qomi Abad hill is related to the Islamic era and is in the eastern side and close to the excavated area inside and outside the livestock fence, and in the westernmost parts of the hill adjacent to agricultural lands, the scattering of prehistoric pottery (culture) Cheshme Ali or the end of the 6th millennium) has been well visible. In the center of the hill, digging has been done and no cultural material could be removed due to the large amount of trash dumped in it.
