According to the Young Journalists Club; The supervisor of the Livestock Affairs Support Company said: The clearance procedures for the remaining 160,000 tons of inputs from the unloaded cargoes in the port are ongoing.
Hossein Shirzad said: In the last three months, more than 9 ships carrying imported goods weighing approximately 500,000 tons have been unloaded at Imam Khomeini Port.
The head of the country’s livestock support company added: 340,000 tons of the above-mentioned cargoes have been transported to the company’s provincial agencies after clearance, and the remaining 160,000 tons of cargoes have been unloaded and are in the port. The forecast is in progress.
He continued: Currently, more than 4 ships carrying soybean meal with a weight of approximately 260,000 tons are in the anchorage of Imam Khomeini Port, and as soon as the necessary currency is provided, the stages of clearance, berthing and transportation will be operational. This company’s purchases of inputs continue continuously.
Shirzad said: extensive purchases of the country’s livestock affairs support company; This company has purchased soybean meal in the amount of 4 ships, and 2 of these ships have finished loading at the port of origin and are on their way to the ports of unloading in the country, and the other 2 ships are in the process of loading. .
He said: due to the support of the Minister of Agricultural Jihad and the adoption of strategic decisions and the double efforts of the company, the current inventory and the purchases made in the next two months will not be a shortage in the field of meeting the needs of domestic producers as well as providing strategic reserves.
