The proposed plan to determine the status of the land of Garrison Jay was sent to the Article Five Commission
The mayor of Region 9 announced the submission of the proposed plan to determine the status of the G Barracks lands to the Article Five Commission with the aim of providing the infrastructure needed in the region.
According to the public relations report of Region 9 municipality, Seyyed Mohammad Rahim Mortazavi, the mayor of the region, while expressing this news, said: The land of Barracks Jay with an area of over 60 hectares in the eastern side of Region 9 has created major problems for the residents of this area due to the large size and integrity of the area, which is one of the most important of them. It is possible to refer to the disconnection between adjacent plaques. Also, the proximity of the G Barracks lands with the dilapidated structure has also led to many social problems.
Mortazavi stated that improving the quality of urban life and providing services to citizens is the most important concern of urban management, and said: From the beginning of this urban management period, the issue of assigning the land of Barracks Jay was on the agenda, and it is the result of the efforts of my colleagues in Region 9 and the renovation and real estate organizations. Real estate led to the conclusion of an agreement with the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support in August 1401 and an agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran Army in March 1402.
The mayor of Region 9 continued: According to the aforementioned agreements, after completing the legal process, a significant part of the Jay Barracks area will be constructed and directed for the construction of the required per capita services (such as green space, health care, services, jihadi housing plan, etc.) The welfare of the citizens will be exploited.
In the end, he praised the efforts of all areas of Tehran Municipality to realize this issue, especially the Tehran City Renewal Organization.
It should be noted that in order to operationalize the plan and obtain approval, it has been sent to the Article Five Commission, so that after obtaining the final approvals, the aforementioned project will be implemented immediately.
