This atmosphere of moaning is in architecture!
There is no benefit except sowing seeds of despair
Sometimes I think it might even be intentional!
I remember in 1994, when I got my master’s degree, everyone was complaining that the job market of the engineering system was hot, horrible, and had no income, and I was so disappointed that I never took the exam.
It was from my friend that he got his degree that year. Now it is 2nd grade. Yes, the revenue of the license system is not the same as 10-20 years ago, but eventually it will be a certain amount. For example, for our city, where there are many architects and the competition is heavy, in the worst case, a project is referred to a person in the whole year, whose signature is equivalent to 6 months of my full-time work salary in the office.
It was the same for Apple. Saying architecture has no fund
While this is a very general word and general words are neither reliable nor useful
For years, I did not apply for immigration until later I insisted that I do it anyway
After I started, I saw that the one that doesn’t have funds is Master of Architecture, which has a chance to get Parshall Fund, while the other fields don’t have funds!
And PhD has a high chance of funding – now, not as much as basic sciences, where 100% of admissions are funded, but depending on the research field and resume, the chance of architecture PhD funding can be higher.
