The case of the 8-hectare Ramsar garden was not nationally registered by Alireza Izadi, Director General of the Registration Office of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, today, March 2, 1402, and it was reported that Mustafa De Pahlavan, the head of the Cultural Heritage Research Institute, wrote in a letter addressed to Hossein Izadi, Director General of Cultural Heritage, a week ago, 23 Bahman. According to the report of the Heritage, earlier on 7th of Bahman 1402, “Alireza Izadi”, the Director General of the Ministry’s Artifacts Registration Office, asked “Hossein Izadi”, the Director General of Cultural Heritage of Mazandaran, to prepare a map of the proposed area and send it to this office after obtaining the written approval of the Archaeological Research Institute. .
Now the question is, when the entire file along with the documents and confirmation of the Institute of Archeology has been sent to the registry office, what is the reason for this office’s delay in registering this work, considering the possibility of the destruction of the 8-hectare garden of Ramsar?! Doesn’t the general manager of the registry office know that he can register the work and enter it in the file, within a certain period of time, the remaining documents will be sent to complete the file?!
⁉ Earlier, Ramsar cultural heritage activists emphasized in the article they sent to Heritage Bashi that Javad Vahedi, the legal deputy of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, with the help and guidance of city agents, has been obstructing the process of registering this area for almost 8 months.

Who will benefit from not registering the 8-hectare garden?
The historic area of ”Garmehroud”, which is known as the “8-hectare garden” of Ramsar, was the capital of Tunkabon between 769-750 AH, and during the accidental excavations of the general administration of Falahat in this city in 1313, artifacts such as gold coins, ornaments, war tools and also remains were found. The area of Garmeroud has Hyrcanian spots and is used as a garden-office. With the separation of four hectares of garden land and the transfer of its ownership to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, activists and experts in the field of heritage are afraid that this historical site will be transformed from a first-class garden to a residential area with the guidance of this institution in the province and the absence of a national registration file.
