Who is an engineer and what is engineering? Final part – way of working

In the previous part of this article, it was stated that an expert engineer, like a businessman, is an expert and expert who connects technology with market needs and produces cheap, durable and customer-friendly products. Now, the basic question is, how can such experienced engineers be trained who will be beneficial for the country’s industry and economy? In our country, research and development is mistakenly equated with engineering, and we think that if we were able to produce complex products and technologies with the help of academic elites, it shows the high power of our engineers!! (Elite is different from earth to sky engineering!!)
It is also impossible to train experienced engineers for the industry with advanced academic training, and there is an urgent need for our young engineers to undergo continuous training for a long period of 7 to 10 years under the supervision of expert masters and get to know engineering techniques.

Our country has never experienced industrialization, and as a result, it has not come close to the stage of producing and training master engineers. To find real engineers, we must go to those who have the necessary background and experience in industry and engineering and countries such as Germany, Japan, America. They have well traveled the path of industrialization and technological progress and have very experienced and expert engineers.
Countries such as South Korea and China, with a correct understanding of this matter, opened the doors of their industry and economy to foreign companies and experienced forces, and by providing suitable conditions, they were able to attract the capital and expertise of the world’s industry experts, and through this, engineering technology transfer to their native engineers. (In the 1950s, similar events were happening in the industry of our country, which unfortunately were stopped later by some young people with raw and inexperienced emotions and failed!!!) After about 30 years, we see that the students of yesterday (Korea and China) By learning the techniques and secrets of engineering work and with a lot of effort, they are surpassing their past teachers (Japan, America and Germany)!!

Some time ago, I was working in a joint project with a Chinese company, and in that project, our manager was an expert German engineer from Daimler. I asked him why the Chinese came to the Japanese and Germans in this project, while they themselves have the technology needed to build and develop the systems of this project. He answered that it is true that Chinese companies have the hardware and software technology to do this, but how to correctly model the system, the correct process of doing work, engineering management, evaluation and quality standards, cost reduction techniques, documentation. they don’t have it, and for this reason, they are willing to leave it to Japanese and German companies by spending higher costs. In this project, I witnessed that a large number of Chinese engineers were working alongside the Japanese and Germans and were learning and practicing work techniques under the supervision of Japanese and German expert engineers.
I say with great confidence that we have no other way to industrialize and increase our engineering power, and we have to go to German, Japanese and American companies and capable engineers, and with close and continuous communication, little by little from these engineering professors. to learn To think that we can stand on our own feet and grow only by relying on our own internal strength is a false idea that has been well proven to be ineffective in the last four decades.
