Were the remains of the historical fortress of Hesark Peshwa Varamin destroyed and leveled?
According to Bashi’s legacy; Local sources reported the destruction of the remains of the Peshwa’s fortress. Pottery remains are visible in the photos sent.
In order to follow up on the story, Erzgbaashi contacted several experts, and all of them said that the situation of archeology and hills in Tehran province is very serious and the daily destruction of hills has become a normal thing.
The unfortunate part of the story is that after years of searching on the internet, there is no information about this castle.
‼ In addition to the fact that you cannot confirm or deny the complete accuracy of this news, it mentions information about this hill:
A part of the fortress of Pishvay Varamin’s Hesarak is located inside the alley of mosaic making, inside the gardens and people’s houses.
Hesarak is one of the villages of Askarieh district of Peshwa district, which is located one kilometer southeast of Varamin.
In the report of archaeologists related to the investigation and identification of historical monuments of Varamin in the 80s, it is stated: “In the west of Hesarak village and behind Sattar Khan Primary School, in the mosaic alley, two hill-like works of an ancient castle have remained.
One of these hills is inside the residential house and the other one, which is relatively wider, occupies a part of the alley.
Considering that these two remaining hills are one complex, it can be concluded that the castle was very large and huge, but over time it was leveled and integrated into residential houses and rural gardens.
It is evident around the clay hill. The thick foundation and layered clay walls revealed by the excavation of the hill are indicative of a great architecture.
The tiles and the style of the Chinese wall of Hesarak Castle are comparable to Iraj and Bajak castles, and they can be considered to be of the same period and related to the late historical period and the beginning of Islam.
‼ It seems that with Zarghami coming to the post of the ministry, Khyal, the general director of cultural heritage of Tehran province, who was a bus manager of Kish Monsan, is completely comfortable that he remains in this position and has established a new style and trend in the protection of historical monuments, so that According to experts, significant historical hills in this province have either been destroyed or are about to be destroyed, and no information or action has been taken in this regard.
