The condition of resignation at the time of registration for employees in supervisory and executive bodies was canceled
Building of Ministry of Road and Urban Development, Director General of Building Engineering Development Office said: With the approval of the Housing and Construction Deputy, the condition of resignation at the time of registration for members working in supervisory and executive bodies who participate in the election of board members of building engineering system organizations was canceled.
According to the reporter of the Ministry of Road and Urban Development’s news website, the Construction Engineering Development Office announced in a notification to the general managers of road and urban development of the provinces across the country, the cancellation of the resignation requirement at the time of registration for members working in supervisory and executive bodies.
Also, according to the circular of the Construction Engineering Development Office, with the approval of the Housing and Construction Deputy, the members subject to the circular announcing the examples of Note 3, Section P, Article 59 of the Executive Regulations of the Engineering System Law, who were previously required to register for the election of the board of directors of the provincial engineering system organizations, from resign from their positions, they can register in the election by submitting an official notarized commitment letter.
According to Note 3, Clause P, Article 59 of the Executive Regulations of the Engineering and Building Control System Law, in order to eliminate the conflict of interests and facilitate healthy competition and avoid disruptions in the performance of the duties of employees of supervisory or executive bodies related to the subject of the law, it is not allowed.
According to the announcement of Ali Mohammad Abdi Ghahrodi, Director General of the Construction Engineering Development Office, in 2017 and with the circular of the then Minister of Roads and Urban Development, the names of 13 institutions and executive bodies were announced as examples of this clause, which at the beginning of June this year and with the approval of the Islamic Engineer, the Minister of Roads and Urbanization, the number of covered devices was reduced to 8 devices.
According to the election rules of the 9th term of the board of directors of engineering organizations, the people who were employed or have an employment relationship in the 8 institutions and organizations mentioned in the aforementioned circular were required to resign from their respective organization at the time of registration.
According to the Director General of the Building Engineering Development Office of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, with the recent circular, the commitment to submit the approval of the organization to the resignation of these people has been replaced by the resignation of these people within 72 hours after the final announcement of the election results. Such people should refrain from attending the workplace by taking a leave from the date of the end of the election registration until one day after the election day.
