The western axis of Delavaran is connected to the highway of Imam Ali (AS). 

The plan for the development and connection of the western branch of Delavaran axis, between Al-Ghadir Square and Imam Ali (AS) highway in District 4 of Tehran Municipality was approved by the members of the road network committee of the Transport and Traffic Council.

According to the public relations report of the Transport and Traffic Organization of Tehran, Shahriar Efendizadeh stated that the aforementioned resolution will be implemented by Region 4 of Tehran Municipality after completing the necessary implementation plans and obtaining the necessary permits and budget. The traffic situation of Al-Ghadir Square and the many interference flows with the high traffic volume of this intersection, the connection of the western branch of Delavaran is considered uneven and on the other hand, to create safe conditions and comply with the standards and regulations, the connection to Imam Ali (AS) highway is only from It has been approved through the Kendro route.

The CEO of Tehran Transport and Traffic Organization also informed about the requirement to create curb lines on both approaches of this 35-meter axis for the possibility of safe connection of its north-south roads and added: the development of the mentioned axis by improving the access of residents and the possibility of eastbound traffic flow – West pass will improve the traffic conditions in the nearby neighborhoods and smoothen the traffic of vehicles.

Efendizadeh said that the regulation of the connection of the mentioned intersection with other intersections, according to the approvals of the intersection network committee, was effective in preventing traffic disturbances and safety considerations and clarified: This intersection is in the detailed plan of Tehran city in order to improve the accessibility of Kohak, Awqaf, and Alam and Sanat neighborhoods. It has been explained to the highway road network and the completion of the road network of the area, but the way of connecting the axis to other roads and intersections will affect the traffic situation of other roads, the safety of traffic of users and the access system in the area.
